01-11-2019
The International Benchmarking visit is intended to provide a comparative study and comprehensive learning experience directly from the bank visited by the participants. By combining theories, concepts, and experiences gained during the learning process in the classroom and from the Benchmarking program, participants are expected to increase their knowledge. Participants are also expected to be able to compare bank business results and business values that have been applied at the banks that have been visited with those that are applied at Papua Bank.
On this occasion, the program participants had the opportunity to visit 2 large Indonesian banks in Singapore, Bank Mandiri and Bank BNI. In the first session with Bank Mandiri, participants gained insight about Bank Mandiri Singapore Branch (BMSG) activities in financing activities, especially for Indonesian companies or foreign companies that have links with Indonesia in working capital needs and project financing. In addition to direct financing, BMSG also provides trade finance, fixed income securities and bonds, treasury services, deposits and money transfers. On this occasion, participants received a direct presentation by Mr. Arief Ariyana, General Manager & Country Head of Bank Mandiri Singapore Branch
