Sustainable Financial Workshop

LPPI held a Workshop on Sustainable Finance on Friday, 16 August 2019 at the Pullman Hotel - Central Jakarta. This event was held in order to support the Government in realizing 17 goals in SDG's, one of which is by implementing sustainable finance. LPPI as a Center for Sustainable Finance Knowledge, actively helps human resources, especially those working in banking and financial services in fulfilling the expertise needed in implementing sustainable financial practices in accordance with POJK No.51 / POJK.03 /2017. LPPI helps banking service players in Indonesia to have a good understanding related to policy review & procedures related to the Sustainable Financial Action Plan that must be set forth in the Bank's Business Plan. The program was attended by participants from various agencies namely STIE Indonesia Banking School, Perbanas, BRI Bank, North Sumatra Bank, South Sumatra Babel Bank, Kaltimtara Bank, Kalbar Bank, SulutGo Bank, Central Java Bank, Bali BPD Bank, BJB Bank, BJB Syariah Bank, BJB Bank Banten, Bank Arta Graha Indonesia, Bank Victoria, and Jamkrindo. The program is divided into several sessions:
The first session discussed the SDGs (challenges and opportunities), which was delivered by Ms. Amalia A. Widyasanti, Expert Staff of the Minister of Bappenas
Followed by Session II, which discussed Sustainable Finance governance and how the role of management to support these activities. This material was delivered by Mr. Mulya E. Siregar, Director of the LPPI
Session III was about Bank Book 4 sharing experience material in preparing RBB and RAKB which was delivered by Mr. Haru Koesmahargyo, Finance Director of BRI Bank and continued with Discussion and Case studies by the Team from BRI Bank.
The last session discussed the sustainable financial regulation, the preparation of RAKB, RBB and Sustainability Report which was delivered by Mr. Imansyah, Deputy International Commissioner and OJK Research.
